10 Months

So it has been a while since my last entry but I can tell you a lot has changed since May. First off, I have come to terms with the illness we all know called addiction. She had such a tight grip around my throat around February. I never thought I would escape her grasp or that I would ever want to but I feel so much more free and open to the world around me. I was able to let her go without losing my mind and life in the process. Being clean is one the best life choices i have ever made and i'm glad i had the guts to take the first step. I also met this girl at work. She's a few years older than me but that did not stop me from asking her out. She's funnier than anyone I have met before and has more love to give than I think she realizes. I just hope everything continues to work out in my favor in life because at this moment I can honestly say that I am happy.
